International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March. To mark the occasion, I am taking part in the Labour Party’s campaign to “Sign up a Sister!” by asking you if you would like to join us in our campaign to Build Better Together. Throughout the month of March, Labour is offering free party membership for the year to any woman who is recruited by a party member through this campaign and I’d like to nominate you! We know that women are reluctant to join political parties but we also know that we need more women in Irish politics, and I believe that you could make a huge contribution.
